Gemological knowledge and goldsmithing, under one roof
TzurGems Jewelry & Gemstones is a jewellery shop and workshop in Pardes Hanna. Guy Dagan, a gemologist specialising in gemstones and diamonds, works alongside Rafael Ozer, an artist goldsmith and fifth-generation member of a family of goldsmiths.
Guy Dagan — gemologist
Guy brings the gemological perspective to choosing a stone: its identity, colour, cut, internal characteristics and known treatments, and how these relate to the design and intended use of the jewellery. The choice begins with the individual stone and the person who will wear it.
Rafael Ozer — artist goldsmith
Rafael develops each design through hand-drawn sketches, proportions and attention to the relationship between stone and metal. His work draws on a family tradition of goldsmithing, creating jewellery by hand to suit the agreed design.
From a conversation to a personal piece
We work mainly in 14K and 18K gold with natural gemstones and diamonds. A personal design begins with a consultation, choosing materials and developing a hand-drawn sketch. Before production begins, we agree the design and details together.
