This stone belongs to the Coronadum family, which includes the red ruby and sapphires in all other colors. It is one of the stones of the Breastplate of the High Priest, identified with the Issachar tribe. It is considered one of the most ancient stones known to man.

Sapphire symbolizes heavenly purity. It strengthens one’s conscious and unconscious bond with the soul, the higher self.
